01 — The Opportunity

How White Label SEO Actually Works in Tampa.

THE MODEL

Most Agencies Resell Something

The largest productized SEO vendor in the country is headquartered across the bay and leads its own homepage with being reseller friendly. A large share of Tampa agencies quietly resell its catalog — or a similar one — under their own name.

THE GOOD VERSION

Senior Work, Your Brand

White label done well means a senior specialist executes under the agency's brand with full transparency to the agency. The client gets expertise the agency doesn't have in-house; the agency keeps the relationship.

THE BAD VERSION

Two Margins, No Judgment

A catalog bundle resold at markup — deliverables fixed by a tier sheet, executed by strangers, marked up twice before reaching the business. The client is paying for the illusion of a local team.

02 — Who You Work With

What I Offer Agencies, and What I Tell Owners.

Connor Cedro, SEO consultant

Hey, I'm Connor. For agencies: I take on a limited number of white label partnerships — senior strategy and execution under your brand, with you as the client-facing relationship and me as the person actually doing the SEO. Not a catalog; the same judgment-based work I sell directly, scoped per client. I'm SEMrush-certified with an MBA from SMU Cox, based in Tampa, and I rank my own site against the vendors your competitors resell. For business owners: the same expertise means I can tell you, on a free audit, whether your current agency's deliverables look like a resold bundle — and what you're paying for the markup.

03 — What You Get

For Agencies: What the Partnership Includes.

STRATEGY

Senior Plans Per Client

Audits, keyword strategy and priorities built from each client's data, delivered as documents you present under your brand.

EXECUTION

The Work, Done by Me

Technical fixes, pages, content and link work — executed personally, not routed to a fulfillment team or a marketplace.

REPORTING

Plain-English, Brandable

Monthly reports tied to rankings, calls and forms, written so you can present them without translation.

04 — How It Works

How a White Label Partnership Starts.

1

Fit Conversation

What your clients need, what you deliver in-house, and whether senior execution under your brand is the right model — for a limited number of partners.

2

Pilot Client

One account, full scope, ninety days. You see the work and the reporting before committing more of your book.

3

Scale Deliberately

Additional clients as capacity allows. I would rather do five accounts properly than fifty from a tier sheet.

06 — The Playbook

For Owners: How to Tell If Your Agency Resells.

THE LANGUAGE

Tiers, DA, Bundles

Proposals that price links by domain authority tier, or describe monthly deliverables as fixed counts of posts and links, are usually describing a vendor's catalog.

THE CONTENT

Could Be About Any City

Pages and posts that never name a Tampa neighborhood, a local competitor or a real client situation were written by someone who has never been here.

THE QUESTION

Ask It Directly

“Is execution done in-house, by whom, and can I speak to them?” Honest agencies answer plainly. Evasive answers are the answer.

07 — In Depth

White Label SEO, Explained Honestly.

Why reselling is so common

SEO is hard to staff. A design or marketing agency with a dozen clients can't justify a senior SEO on payroll, so it buys deliverables from a vendor and presents them as its own. The vendors encourage it — white label reporting, agency dashboards, reseller pricing. Nothing about the arrangement is dishonest by itself. The problem arises when the client believes a Tampa team is doing judgment-based work and is actually receiving a bundle decided by a tier sheet in another state, with two margins on top.

What the client actually loses

Judgment. A catalog delivers what was ordered regardless of what the site needs: blog posts to a site that needs a redirect map, links to a site that needs pages. Sequence — the thing that decides whether SEO spend compounds or evaporates — is impossible to run from a bundle. And local specificity is absent: the content could be about any city because it was written for any city.

What good white label looks like

A senior specialist who treats each client as an account, not an order. Strategy per site, execution by the specialist, transparent reporting to the agency, and a scope that adjusts month to month. The agency keeps the relationship and the margin it earns for managing it; the client gets expertise it would not otherwise reach. That is the version I offer, to a small number of Tampa agencies, because it only works at a scale where I can actually do the work.

The markup math

A productized managed program resold at typical agency markup can reach a business at two to three times the vendor's price, with the agency's contribution being a monthly call and a rebranded report. The business could buy the same bundle directly for less — or buy judgment from a consultant for about the same. Owners rarely know which they are paying for, because the question is never asked.

How to ask

Ask your agency three things: who does the SEO execution, are they employees, and can you talk to them. Ask to see a page they wrote for a Tampa client that a competitor across the country couldn't have written. Ask what happened last month that changed the plan. Agencies doing real work answer easily. Agencies reselling get vague — and that is a complete answer.

08 — Common Questions

Questions Before You Book.

What is white label SEO?

SEO work performed by a specialist or vendor and delivered under another agency's brand. It ranges from senior consultants executing per-client strategies to catalog bundles resold at markup.

Do you offer white label SEO to Tampa agencies?

Yes, to a limited number of partners — senior execution under your brand, scoped per client, with a pilot account first. Not a catalog, and not at volume.

How do I know if my agency is reselling SEO?

Tier-based pricing, fixed monthly deliverable counts, content that never mentions Tampa specifics, and vague answers about who does the work. Ask directly; honest agencies answer.

Is reselling SEO bad?

Not inherently. The problem is when a client pays for judgment-based, local work and receives a resold bundle with no judgment and no locality. Transparency is the difference.

What does white label SEO cost?

For agencies, it's scoped per client at rates that leave room for your margin. For owners wondering what they're paying for, the free audit shows what your current deliverables look like from the inside.

Will you ever contact my agency's clients directly?

No. The agency owns the relationship; I'm the execution behind it. That's the deal and it's in writing.
